BooksBajar is an online bookshop based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. We sell new academic, research and professional books to readers across India.
What we sell
Our catalogue lists about 1.4 lakh titles from 4,054 publishers, among them Springer, Routledge, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press and de Gruyter. Most are scholarly and professional books: monographs, conference proceedings, textbooks and reference works. Some are in languages other than English; check the book's details before ordering.
Every book we sell is new. We don't sell used, reprinted or photocopied books, and there are no third-party sellers on this site.
How we work
We don't hold every title in stock. When you order, we buy a new copy from our distributor, Atlantic Books, then pack it and send it to you. Delivery is free and most orders arrive in 3–7 days. You pay cash on delivery, so you pay only when the book reaches you.
If the distributor can't supply a book you ordered, we tell you straight away and cancel it. You won't be charged for it.
