What we collect

• Account details: your name, email, mobile number and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Order details: delivery address, phone number, the books you ordered and the order's delivery status.
• Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
• Technical data: a cookie that keeps your cart and sign-in working, and your IP address in our server logs for security.
• Searches typed into our search box, stored without any link to you, so we can see which books people look for.

We don't collect card or bank details through the website. Orders are paid in cash on delivery.

Why we use it

• To process, deliver and support your orders, returns and refunds.
• To send emails about your orders (confirmation, shipping, delivery). We don't send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.

Who we share it with

• Courier services (through Shiprocket and Envia, and the courier they assign): your name, address and phone, so they can deliver.
• Our email provider, to send order emails.
• Government authorities, only where the law requires it.

We don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: one to keep your cart, one to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for eight years, as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Carts not turned into orders are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account. Order records we must keep by law are retained. To make a request, or to raise a grievance about how we handle your data, contact us:
