About this book

Many Latter-day Saints fear they cannot reach the celestial kingdom. Alonzo L. Gaskill asks whether these anxieties come from a sense of unworthiness, or from the feeling that they simply cannot do it all.

The author argues that such gloom comes from a mistaken view of God's plan of happiness and of what the Lord really asks. Drawing on scripture and modern prophets, he shows readers the depth of God's love and mercy and His wish to lift up His children.

The book's message is hopeful: exaltation may be possible, and perhaps even probable. Published by Deseret Book Co in 2008, with ISBN-13 9781590389188.
