About this book
The papers here began as lectures at a week-long meeting in Singapore in late July 2011, held at the Institute for Mathematical Sciences of the National University of Singapore. Their subject is logic, both mathematical and philosophical, and how it bears on what mathematics rests on.
Two central foundational questions organise the discussion. One concerns what mathematical truth is. The second, which our catalogue record only partly preserves, concerns how such truth can be settled.
